Thankful

Today is a day just to be thankful. I have my two amazing daughters Ava and Macy. We had a good Christmas and are about to go into the new year together. I love Jesus. We have a beautiful church family.
Today I state all love, praise and glory goes straight to God. I love you God.

Movie Reviews

Why on earth do I write some blogs on movie reviews? Well I simply enjoy movies that's why. I always have and I always will. Putting in a movie is more enjoyable than trying to watch some of the stuff on television, especially when their talking politics. But also for the reason of the same old boring commercials trying to tell you what to buy.
Now I know that my personal opinion of a movie might not mean much to most people but I just simple enjoy writing my voice on them. I write them on a Christian perspective. I watch all ratings of movies, well no pornography just the ones rated G through R. The genres are of all sorts from horror, family, comedy, true stories, cartoons and more. You might notice I have no certain genre I favor more though I must say I do love watching Christian movies. There is not enough of them made. The films like Fireproof, Courageous and a few others were just amazing but there does need to be more made. Maybe I will get back into writing scripts again one day when I get a break from my Christian Controversy book series. Maybe.
So I leave you with this, my movie reviews are for you. You Christians, like myself, that want a little honest insight on all these movies that are filling the minds of the people in this horrifying godless world. It does scare me how movies today are just how people truly feel any more.
But I don't only write movie reviews. That would be terribly boring. I write on whatever God pushes me to share.
I hope you enjoy all the reviews and so forth.

The Knights Code with Robert Noland

In February of 2012, I went to the annual Christian Men's Conference at St. Christopher on Seabrook Island, South Carolina. Like any gathering of men, one will develop a good bit of doubt, of actually having a good time. But on the last day, I was sad I had to leave. There were 160 men there. I met some truly wonderful Christian men.
The main speaker was author Robert Noland who educated us on the spiritual principles from his book, The Knight's Code. Anytime you hear of a convention where there is an author and his book, one might think they're only there for book sales. But this was not; he was promoting personal relationships with Jesus Christ. Notice how I said promoting Jesus Christ. The teachings were Live Pure, Speak True, Right Wrong and Follow The King.
Now being a writer myself, I was very excited to talk with Mr. Nolan. We spoke off and on all weekend, even eating breakfast, lunch and dinner together. You can checkout his website, www.theknightscode.com
I must say that the weekend changed my life. It made me see sinful things I had in my life that I never noticed before. Many of us are blinded and uneducated when it comes to the truth in Scripture. I highly recommend reading Robert Nolands book, and having some accountability for your actions. Join a men's group at church, or even outside of church, or even if you have to start your own. One of the important things I learned is that us men always think we can handle any situation by ourselves or we feel that we are simply on our own. But we are not. God is always there with us, through the good and the bad. Now it's up to us if we acknowledge it and follow Him.
So I urge you, get into a men's group! Have the accountability; you know you need in your life. We all have sinned and we all will continue. It's real men of Christ who acknowledge it, repent, and move forward in your journey. Here is a picture of Robert Nolan and I at the conference.
God bless.
