The Knights Code with Robert Noland

In February of 2012, I went to the annual Christian Men's Conference at St. Christopher on Seabrook Island, South Carolina. Like any gathering of men, one will develop a good bit of doubt, of actually having a good time. But on the last day, I was sad I had to leave. There were 160 men there. I met some truly wonderful Christian men.
The main speaker was author Robert Noland who educated us on the spiritual principles from his book, The Knight's Code. Anytime you hear of a convention where there is an author and his book, one might think they're only there for book sales. But this was not; he was promoting personal relationships with Jesus Christ. Notice how I said promoting Jesus Christ. The teachings were Live Pure, Speak True, Right Wrong and Follow The King.
Now being a writer myself, I was very excited to talk with Mr. Nolan. We spoke off and on all weekend, even eating breakfast, lunch and dinner together. You can checkout his website, www.theknightscode.com
I must say that the weekend changed my life. It made me see sinful things I had in my life that I never noticed before. Many of us are blinded and uneducated when it comes to the truth in Scripture. I highly recommend reading Robert Nolands book, and having some accountability for your actions. Join a men's group at church, or even outside of church, or even if you have to start your own. One of the important things I learned is that us men always think we can handle any situation by ourselves or we feel that we are simply on our own. But we are not. God is always there with us, through the good and the bad. Now it's up to us if we acknowledge it and follow Him.
So I urge you, get into a men's group! Have the accountability; you know you need in your life. We all have sinned and we all will continue. It's real men of Christ who acknowledge it, repent, and move forward in your journey. Here is a picture of Robert Nolan and I at the conference.
God bless.
